It was the early 1960’s when I first heard of Baron Daemon. He was so popular that nearly every day I was regaled with tales of the antics of this vampire who hosted an after school kiddie show. Once a teacher inquired as to what  my occupational aspirations would be when I grew up. While others offered the usual replies... I blurted out: “I want to be Baron Daemon’s bloody buddy.”

I came up with the idea for The Deadly Spawn in 1979 after reading about seed pods brought back from the Arctic. They were thawed and grown. The seeds were thousands of years old. Why not put a “seed pod” inside a meteor and have it crash, thaw and grow on Earth?



The Rubber Room is a site dedicated to the making and collecting of horror related masks and display busts. I am a mask collector and have put a site together that shows my collection as well as a history of the hobby.

From 1989 through 1992 Dr. Shock exploded onto the airwaves of northwest Ohio and southeast
Michigan shocking TV fans for over 156 shows. Every Saturday midnight for 3-1/2 years you could
find Dr. Shock’s X-Ray Chiller Theater on Fox 36 until those !*#& infomercials forced the good Doc
off the air.
